1. Who we are / Chi siamo
English: The extension is developed and operated by Electric Flock LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the AppSocial platform at app.appsocial.it. Contact: privacy@electricflock.net

2. What the extension does / Cosa fa l'estensione
English: The AppSocial for LinkedIn extension automatically collects analytics data from the authenticated user's own LinkedIn profile and sends it to the user's AppSocial workspace, where it can be viewed on the analytics dashboard. The extension only activates on linkedin.com pages and only collects data belonging to the currently logged-in LinkedIn user.

English: The extension reads the following data from LinkedIn pages visited by the user:

4. How data is used / Come vengono usati i dati
English: Data collected by the extension is used exclusively to populate the LinkedIn analytics dashboard in the user's AppSocial workspace. Data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or profiling purposes. The only external service that receives the data is the AppSocial backend (Google Cloud Run, region europe-west1), which stores it in Firebase Firestore under the user's authenticated workspace.
Italiano: I dati raccolti dall'estensione sono utilizzati esclusivamente per popolare la dashboard analytics LinkedIn nel workspace AppSocial dell'utente. I dati non vengono venduti, condivisi con terze parti, né utilizzati a fini pubblicitari o di profilazione. 6. Data storage & retention / Conservazione dei dati
English:
- Local (chrome.storage.local): data persists until the extension is uninstalled or the user clears extension storage. Maximum 50 raw API captures are kept at any time.
- AppSocial server (Firestore): analytics data is retained for up to 24 months from collection, or until the user deletes their workspace / account.
Italiano:
- Locale (chrome.storage.local): i dati persistono fino alla disinstallazione dell'estensione o alla cancellazione dello storage da parte dell'utente. Vengono mantenuti al massimo 50 raw captures API.
- Server AppSocial (Firestore): i dati analitici sono conservati fino a 24 mesi dalla raccolta, o fino alla cancellazione del workspace/account.
7. User controls / Controlli dell'utente
English: You can stop data collection at any time by:
- Uninstalling the extension from Chrome — immediately stops all data collection and clears local storage.
- Disconnecting the extension from AppSocial (Settings → Connect → Disconnect extension) — revokes the API key and stops data sync to the server; local data is cleared.
- Deleting your AppSocial workspace — removes all synced LinkedIn analytics data from our servers within 30 days.
Italiano: Puoi interrompere la raccolta dati in qualsiasi momento:
- Disinstallando l'estensione da Chrome — interrompe immediatamente la raccolta dati e cancella lo storage locale.
- Disconnettendo l'estensione da AppSocial (Impostazioni → Connessioni → Disconnetti estensione) — revoca la chiave API e interrompe la sync; lo storage locale viene cancellato.
- Eliminando il workspace AppSocial — rimuove tutti i dati analytics LinkedIn dai nostri server entro 30 giorni.
8. Third parties / Terze parti
English: The extension communicates only with:
- linkedin.com — to read the authenticated user's own profile and analytics data
- AppSocial backend (*.run.app / *.appsocial.it) — to send collected analytics data to the user's workspace
No analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking pixels are included in the extension. No data is shared with any third party other than Google (Firebase/Cloud Run infrastructure) as described in the general Privacy Policy.
Italiano: L'estensione comunica solo con:
- linkedin.com — per leggere i dati del profilo e le analytics dell'utente autenticato
- Backend AppSocial (*.run.app / *.appsocial.it) — per inviare i dati raccolti al workspace dell'utente
Nessun SDK di analytics, rete pubblicitaria o tracking pixel è incluso nell'estensione. Nessun dato viene condiviso con terze parti diverse da Google (infrastruttura Firebase/Cloud Run) come descritto nella Privacy Policy generale.
9. Single purpose declaration / Dichiarazione monoscopo
English: The AppSocial for LinkedIn extension has a single purpose: collecting LinkedIn analytics data (follower count, profile views, post impressions, top posts) from the authenticated user's own LinkedIn profile and syncing it to their AppSocial workspace dashboard. The extension performs no other function.
